Problem

A customer wanted to bring a high-end reel-to-reel tape deck to market. Decks of that class were designed decades ago around motors and parts that are no longer made.

Approach

We developed the mechanical assemblies, motor-control electronics and firmware. Modern BLDC motors replace the legacy analog drive.
