SuperSeat

A salvaged Tesla seat turned office chair, with its factory controls working again.

Problem

Make a Tesla seat's heat, cooling, lumbar and recline controls work off a wall outlet, with no car attached.

Approach

A custom board stands in for the car. We reverse-engineered the seat's LIN signaling, and the board's firmware replays it. A 3D-printed enclosure mounts it to the chair.
