What it is

Electronics that bring a salvaged Tesla Model 3 or Model Y front seat back to life as a powered office chair, running off a wall outlet. The kit drives heat, cooling, lumbar, recline and tilt.

How it works

01

Reverse-engineered LIN

The seat's LIN signaling was reverse-engineered from the original harness.

Custom PCB

One board drives the actuators and resistive heaters and speaks the LIN protocol the seat expects.

Standalone firmware

Firmware on the same board replays the vehicle's LIN traffic, so the seat runs with no car attached.

04

Printed and assembled here

A 3D-printed enclosure mounts to the chair. Boards are assembled and hand-soldered in house.
